Paulista: "We have to get ready for the next game"
Gabriel Paulista spoke to the media after the full-time whistle in the Balearics, where Valencia CF lost 1-0 to RCD Mallorca.
The difference in the two halves
The first half was very good. Defensively we were solid and in attack we had some chances. We started the second half well, but then we left a lot of space for Kang In Lee, who is a very good player capable of creating moves when you give him space.
Now we have to rest well because the weekend is coming up. We have to prepare ourselves for the next game, which is essential, and we are going to go in search of the three points. I'm sure that we are going to have a much better game and will always be looking for a positive result, which is what matters most.
A huge game against RCD Espanyol
Every game is important and we have to face them as if they were finals. On Sunday we have to play a very solid game, with a lot of intelligence. I'm sure we will get the three points if we do that. We must have positive thinking about everything. It won't be an easy game, but we have to be at our best to get the three points and get out of this situation definitively, which is a very difficult one in which we don't want to be.
Unconditional support
I have no words for the fans. In the last few games away from home they have always been with us. At home I don't have much more that I can say. I'm sure that they will be with us, supporting until the end. I want to thank all of them, not only for today, but for their support in every game. It has been a very hard season, but they have always been with us.
Next Sunday we have to get much more than what we have been doing in previous games. If we do things correctly and with much more intensity, I'm sure that we will take the three points, which are very important.
